Cool Post, Many of you have probably seen online promotional campaigns where people have partnered up to help launch a new book or product. Perhaps you’ve wondered why people would bother to get involved in another person’s book campaign, and what they could possibly gain from it. It’s easy to understand how a collaborative campaign benefits the author whose book is being launched. While being #1 on Amazon doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be raking in the “big bucks”, the kudos of being a #1 seller is worth many times its weight in cyber-gold when seeking gigs as a public speaker or media guest. Furthermore, if you are a self-published author who later wishes to approach a publisher, being able to prove your ability to promote yourself successfully will be highly influential in their decision of whether or not to pick you up as one of their own.

Hi Shauna,
Thanks for that, As the coordinator for a think tank, we spend a lot of time looking over entrepreneurial business plans for new startups. I am always amazed at the number of business plans that I’ve been reading, especially in the last five years that have to do with clean technologies, green companies, and alternative energy. Still, I am quite concerned because many of these business plans simply do not have a compelling reason to risk the capital. Okay so, let’s talk about this for second shall we?

Hi Shauna,
Cool Post, 5. Final Fantasy 10
This was the first Final Fantasy title to launch on the PlayStation 2. Never before did we have a story-driven RPG with voice acting and stunning graphics. I’m happy that a Final Fantasy title was able to be the first to reach that milestone. Square Enix deserved it.

In addition to your post I was wondering, At Frye’s over the weekend I saw two half shelves worth of HD-DVD software. This is only remarkable because I had not been to an electronics superstore recently to see such a display. I know they’ve been out for weeks or a month or a I don’t care.

I don’t think that it is a coincidence that students give this program high reviews and that this program is done using Apple devices. Touch screens have a way of making everything seem fun, even learning.
